As far as accommodations all the rooms are well appointed. But weekends are generally when there are events going on. Weekdays are the best days, less crowded better deals.

This place literally makes you forget where you are and what time is the entire time you are there (this could be a good or bad thing!) The resort often books up in advance on the weekends so heading there on an impulse can result in some problems. I spent my college years just down the road from Soaring Eagle, but it was not until later in life that I grew to love all it has to offer.
